Police Investigate Bomb Threats at Asia Mall and Government Buildings
Bishkek, October 19, 2023 – According to a report received by 24.kg news agency, there is an increased police presence near Asia Mall following a bomb threat. The Central Internal Affairs Department of Bishkek has confirmed that they received information about a potential bomb planted in the mall.
This is not the first time that the shopping center has had bomb threats. Two previous incidents occurred on May 29 and June 13, where unknown individuals reported the presence of a bomb in the mall.
In addition to the threat at Asia Mall, the police were also informed this morning about alleged bombs planted in the buildings of the Ministry of Digital Development, the Supreme Court, and the Leninsky District Court.
