Asrorjon Askarov Takes Charge as Acting Chairman of Regional Electric Networks JSC
Asrorjon Askarov has been appointed as the Acting Chairman of the Regional Electric Networks JSC, taking over from the previous head, Ulugbek Mustafoyev. Mustafoyev has recently been appointed as the Acting Governor of the Jizzakh region.
Before his new role, Askarov served as the Deputy Chairman of the Board for Economics at the Regional Electric Networks (Hududiy Elektr Tarmoqlari) JSC.
Born in 1978, Askarov is a graduate of Fergana Polytechnic Institute (2001), Tashkent State University of Economics (2008), and the Academy of Public Administration (2009).
Ulugbek Mustafoyev had been overseeing the Regional Electric Networks since 2019 before being appointed as Acting Governor of the Jizzakh region on December 19.
The company and the region will now be under the leadership of Askarov and Mustafoyev, respectively. Their work and decisions are expected to influence the development and progress of the energy sector and the region as a whole.
