ATATURK 1881-1919 Sequel Movie Poster Revealed
The highly anticipated second movie of Mehmet Ada Öztekin’s “ATATÜRK 1881-1919” is on its way, and the poster has been shared. The movie, produced by Lanistar Media, is set to be released in Turkey on January 5. The sequel to the first film, “ATATÜRK II”, will focus on the Battle of Gallipoli and the period that lasted until 1919.
The movie will depict Mustafa Kemal’s great test on the Gallipoli front in 1915, as well as his subsequent battles against the Russians on the Eastern Front and the British on the Syrian front. Despite facing these challenges, he will go down in history as the only Ottoman officer who did not lose his battle in World War I. However, upon his return to Istanbul, he will encounter a bad surprise.
The first film, which was the ‘Best Opening Drama of 2023’ in Turkey and reached over 1.5 million viewers, was also shown in cinemas in more than 30 countries. The film reached a record number of viewers in the countries where it was released.
The second movie, “ATATÜRK 1881-1919”, will be screened in cinemas in Turkey on January 5, and negotiations are ongoing to release both films on digital platforms in 2024. The movie, directed by Mehmet Ada Öztekin, tells the story of Mustafa Kemal, portrayed by Aras Bulut İynemli, and his leadership during the War of Independence. The film also features Songül Öden as Zübeyde Hanım, Sarp Akkaya as Enver Pasha, and Esra Bilgiç as Madame Corinne.
