Release Dates Revealed for ‘Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow’ and ‘Mortal Kombat 2’
Warner Bros. Sets Release Dates for Major Projects
Warner Bros. Pictures has recently made some exciting announcements regarding the release dates of their upcoming major films.
The highly anticipated DC Universe movie “Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow” has been scheduled to hit theaters on June 26, 2026. The film, starring Milly Alcock (known for her role in House of the Dragon), is set to be the second official film in James Gunn and Peter Safran’s new DC Universe following the release of “Superman” in July of next year.
Directed by Craig Gillespie and adapted from Tom King’s 2022 comic book series, the movie is expected to offer a fresh take on the beloved character. Ana Nogueira penned the script for this exciting project.
Fans of the “Mortal Kombat” franchise can look forward to the sequel, set to be released on October 24, 2025, with an IMAX release also planned. The sequel, which recently finished filming in Australia, features a talented cast including Karl Urban, Tati Gabrielle, Damon Herriman, and returning actors from the 2021 reboot.
Additionally, horror movie fans will be pleased to hear that director Zach Cregger’s new film “Weapons” is set to premiere on January 16, 2026.
