
Atatürk Commemoration Ceremony at Demirören Media High School on 10 November

On the 85th anniversary of Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk’s passing, commemoration ceremonies were held all over Turkey. At Demirören Medya Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School, students and teachers paid their respects to Atatürk on November 10th.
Students at Demirören Medya expressed their longing for their ancestors on the 85th anniversary of Atatürk’s passing. They participated in a commemoration ceremony to honor the great leader.
A student who attended the ceremony expressed, “Our Ancestor entrusted us with this homeland, our duty is to protect and glorify the homeland entrusted to us by our Ancestor.” Another student added, “I am very happy that we, the young people, were blessed with such a great leader. We commemorate Ata with respect and mercy, and we tried to express our feelings to some extent at the commemoration ceremony we held at our school.”
After a moment of silence and the reading of the National Anthem, students left carnations on the table with Atatürk’s image as a sign of respect.
The students at Demirören Medya Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School displayed their gratitude and respect for Atatürk on this significant day of remembrance.
