Attacked by Tradesmen: Workers Held Up at Gunpoint and Beaten in Traffic
A violent incident took place in Murat Çeşme District Ayşin Street at 7:00 pm. Allegedly, the driver of a light commercial vehicle was driving recklessly on the street in the evening and was warned by the owner of a nearby workplace. This led to an argument between the driver and the owner. Following the argument, the driver left the street, but returned about an hour later with a group of friends.
Three attackers armed with weapons and a machete then assaulted the owner of the business and an employee. The son of the business owner arrived at the scene and also got involved in the altercation. The attackers wounded both the father and the son before attempting to flee in their vehicles.
However, the suspects were caught in traffic while trying to escape. Other tradesmen on the street noticed the commotion and apprehended the attackers in their vehicles. Police and emergency medical teams were called to the scene, where they found the business owner with an arm injury and his son with a leg injury. Both were taken to the hospital for treatment.
Meanwhile, the police detained the three attackers who were caught by the tradesmen. An investigation into the incident has been launched to determine the motive behind the violent attack.
