Armenian Armed Forces Open Fire on Azerbaijan Army Positions
Baku, July 18 – In a recent incident, the Armenian armed forces targeted Azerbaijan Army positions using small arms. The attack began on July 17 at 21:25 and continued until July 18 at 00:15. The firing originated from their positions in the Gorus and Davali regions, aiming at the Azerbaijan Army positions stationed in the Malibay settlement of the Lachin region and Sadarak region of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, as stated by the Ministry of Defense to AZERTAC.
In response to the attack, the Azerbaijan Army units swiftly implemented retaliatory measures to protect their positions.
The continuous aggression from the Armenian armed forces poses a threat to the stability and security of the region. This violation of international norms and peace agreements highlights the need for a peaceful resolution to the Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict.
