Authorities in Van Detain 66 Illegal Immigrants – Breaking News in Turkey
The Provincial Gendarmerie Command has been actively working to prevent “Migrant Smuggling and Human Trafficking” activities, and their efforts have shown results. A total of 32 operations were conducted between August 26 and September 1 under the coordination of the Chief Public Prosecutor’s Offices.
During these operations, gendarmerie teams managed to apprehend 66 illegal immigrants who were being smuggled into different areas. Additionally, legal action was taken against 16 individuals who were identified as organizers of these illegal activities.
This successful crackdown on migrant smuggling and human trafficking is a testament to the dedication and effectiveness of the Provincial Gendarmerie Command.
