Provincial Gendarmerie Seizes 13 Tons of Counterfeit Detergent in Turkey
Provincial Gendarmerie Command teams in Turkey have successfully seized a large amount of counterfeit detergent following a coordinated operation with the Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office. The information received led the authorities to an address in Şehitkamil district, where fake detergent was being produced.
During the operation at the specified address, a total of 13 tons and 450 kilograms of counterfeit detergent were confiscated, along with 5,330 packages of various fake brands. The authorities also took a suspect identified as AA into custody, who was then transferred to the Provincial Gendarmerie Command for further investigation.
Counterfeit products, such as fake detergent, pose serious health risks to consumers as they may contain harmful chemicals or substances. The Provincial Gendarmerie’s swift action in seizing these counterfeit goods helps protect the public from potentially harmful products.
Authorities are continuing their investigation to determine the extent of the counterfeit detergent distribution and production network. The crackdown on counterfeit goods is crucial in safeguarding consumer health and safety in the region.
