Numerous Suspects Charged with Various Crimes

A group of suspects is facing a range of serious charges, including intentional murder, intentional injury, torture, blackmail, deprivation of liberty, plunder, favoring the criminal, destroying, concealing or altering evidence of crime, and assuming a crime, all within the activities of an armed criminal organization. One suspect, in particular, will be tried for intentional injury.

It has also been reported that 26 suspects will not face additional prosecution.

Investigation of Public Officials

In addition to the charges against the suspects, an investigation has been launched against certain public officials, including police officers, on allegations of bribery, abuse of power, and asset laundering. The indictment, which was prepared by the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office, has been sent to the Ankara High Criminal Court.
