Azerbaijan and Armenia receive support from Macron for normalization
French President Emmanuel Macron and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan met in Paris at the Elysee Palace to discuss various regional, bilateral, and artificial intelligence issues. In a statement released by the Elysee Palace, it was mentioned that Macron reiterated France’s full support for the normalization of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan and the signing of an international peace agreement.
Macron also expressed his commitment to supporting the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Armenia. The two leaders agreed to continue working on cooperation projects in the fields of defense, energy, and transportation between their countries.
Furthermore, Macron extended his gratitude to Pashinyan for his participation in the Artificial Intelligence Action Summit in Paris. The meeting between Macron and Pashinyan highlights the strong relationship between France and Armenia and their commitment to working together on important regional and international issues.
