Azerbaijan and China Sign Memorandum of Understanding on Space Cooperation
During a state visit to China by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, a significant Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on cooperation in space and the peaceful use of outer space was signed in Beijing. The Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of Azerbaijan and China’s National Space Administration (CNSA) came together for this momentous occasion.
The signing ceremony, attended by both President Aliyev and Chinese President Xi Jinping, marked a new chapter in the collaboration between the two countries in the field of space exploration. The MoU was signed by Azerbaijan’s Minister of Digital Development and Transport, Rashad Nabiyev, and China’s CNSA Director, Zhang Kejian.
This agreement paves the way for mutual cooperation on space-related initiatives and promotes the peaceful use of outer space for the benefit of both nations.
