
Azerbaijan confirms 5 fresh COVID-19 infections

5 New Cases and 2 Recoveries of Coronavirus Recorded in Azerbaijan
Baku, July 12 – In the latest update on the COVID-19 situation in Azerbaijan, the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers has reported 5 new cases of coronavirus infection. However, there is some positive news as well, with 2 patients having made a full recovery.
The total number of confirmed cases in Azerbaijan has now reached 831,970. Out of these, 821,668 individuals have successfully recovered from the virus. Unfortunately, the country has also witnessed 10,287 deaths due to COVID-19. Currently, 15 patients are still undergoing treatment.
A significant number of coronavirus tests have been conducted in the country, with the total tally reaching 7,652,788.
The government continues its efforts to combat the spread of the virus by implementing strict preventive measures and conducting widespread testing. Vaccination campaigns are also underway to inoculate the population and reduce the risk of transmission.
