Azerbaijan Naval Forces delegation visits Ankara for Staff Talks with Türkiye
A delegation from the Azerbaijan Naval Forces, led by the First Deputy Commander – Chief of Staff, Captain Teymur Murshudov, recently visited Ankara to take part in the 10th Staff Talks between the Naval Forces of Azerbaijan and Türkiye. The visit was aimed at strengthening cooperation and exchanging experiences between the two countries.
During their visit, the Azerbaijani delegation paid respects at important monuments in Ankara. They first visited the Heydar Aliyev Park, where they laid flowers at the monument dedicated to the National Leader of Azerbaijan, Heydar Aliyev. The delegation also visited Anıtkabir, the mausoleum of the founder of Türkiye, Mustafa Kemal Atatürk.
The discussions during the staff talks focused on enhancing cooperation between the Naval Forces of Azerbaijan and Türkiye. The importance of sharing experiences and engaging in collaborative efforts in various spheres was emphasized. At the conclusion of the talks, a joint agreement protocol was signed to further develop cooperation between the two naval forces.
The visit and the signing of the agreement highlight the strong bond and partnership between Azerbaijan and Türkiye in the field of naval defense. Such engagements contribute to the mutual benefit and security of both nations.
