Azerbaijan Thwarts West’s Plans with Support from Allies
Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov has praised the support of Turkey and friendly states in thwarting the plans of the West. Speaking to Anadolu at the Antalya Diplomacy Forum, Bayramov highlighted the strong stance Azerbaijan has taken against perceived double standards by Western countries, especially France.
Bayramov pointed out that for three decades, the West remained silent on the issue of occupation in Azerbaijan. However, when Azerbaijan took steps to restore its territorial integrity, they attempted to impose sanctions. Despite these efforts, Azerbaijan was able to stand firm against such measures due to its independent foreign policy and the unwavering support of Turkey and other friendly nations.
The Minister’s remarks underscore the importance of solidarity and cooperation among like-minded countries in facing challenges and defending national interests. Azerbaijan’s successful navigation of geopolitical complexities serves as a reminder of the strength that comes from strategic partnerships and a principled foreign policy approach.
