Azerbaijan Sees Surge in Fruit Exports in Early 2025
Between January and March of 2025, Azerbaijan exported a total of 31,600 tons of apples, pears, and quinces, generating $21.5 million in revenue. This represents a significant increase compared to the same period in 2024, with volume exports rising by 20.5% and value by 22.5%.
According to the Ministry of Agriculture, this growth reflects a broader trend of rising fruit exports from Azerbaijan, highlighting the country’s increasing capacity to participate in international markets. The remarkable uptick in these exports underscores Azerbaijan’s potential as a key player in the global fruit industry, showcasing the region’s agricultural diversity and quality.
