Babacan objects to Yavaş and İmamoğlu
IYI Party Leader, Meral Akşener, has revealed that DEVA Party Chairman, Ali Babacan, objected to the formula of Istanbul Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu and Ankara Mayor Mansur Yavaş becoming vice presidents, resulting in their party leaving the table of six. However, after negotiations and explaining the matter, they were able to come to an agreement and return to the table. Babacan is said to have made an offer to be the Minister of Urbanism and the Minister of Disaster, which was ultimately not accepted. The issue at hand was reportedly resolved through the signing of a text that had been previously agreed upon.
