Bakhti Tashkentsky Sentenced to 15-Day Jail Term
Tashkent City Court Sentences Kudratullayev Bakhtiyor Zaparovich to 15 Days in Prison
The Yakkasaray district court on criminal proceedings of Tashkent city recently considered the case of Kudratullayev Bakhtiyor Zaparovich in the Tashkent city DIA building. The court found Kudratullayev Bakhtiyor Zaparovich guilty of committing administrative offenses under Article 183 (petty hooliganism) and Article 194-1 (failure to comply with the legal requirement of a DIA employee) of the Criminal Code. As a result, he was sentenced to 15 days in prison.
According to reports from UzNews.uz, the incident took place on November 28, 2023, at around 21:45, when Kudratullayev Bakhtiyor Zaparovich was in the yard of a house on Kuhinur street, Yakkasaray district, Tashkent city. He was reported to have shouted at police officers in a public place, disturbing the peace of citizens and society. Additionally, he deliberately violated the rules of conduct and did not fulfill the legal requirements of police officers when he was invited to the DIA building for clarification of his identity.
During the court session, Kudratullayev Bakhtiyor Zaparovich denied the offense and claimed that he was taken from his home when he was at home. He requested for the court to consider the case fairly.
In light of the court’s decision, Kudratullayev Bakhtiyor Zaparovich was found guilty of administrative offenses under Article 183 (failure to comply with the legal requirements of an employee of internal affairs) and Article 194-1 (petty hooliganism) of the Civil Code. Therefore, he was sentenced to 15-day administrative imprisonment.
It is important to note that a criminal case was initiated against Bakhtiyor Kudratullayev on December 3 of this year, under Article 165-3 (a large amount of extortion) and Article 276-2 (possessing a large amount of narcotics) of the Criminal Code.
