
Baku Hosts Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup Opening Ceremony

The Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup, also known as the “AGF Trophy,” has officially begun in Baku with a spectacular opening ceremony at the National Gymnastics Arena. The event, which will span three days, has attracted top athletes from around the world who are ready to showcase their skills and compete at the highest level.
Fatima Shafizada, the Secretary General of the Azerbaijan Gymnastics Federation, welcomed the participants and audience during the opening ceremony. She expressed her gratitude for the continued support from the First Vice-President of Azerbaijan and President of the Gymnastics Federation, Mehriban Aliyeva, whose dedication has played a significant role in the growth and success of gymnastics in Azerbaijan.
This marks the ninth edition of the prestigious competition, and each year, the number of participating nations continues to rise. The tournament will feature gymnasts competing in individual and all-around disciplines, with the top performers vying for the prestigious AGF Trophy.
As the competition gets underway, fans can expect to witness thrilling routines, impressive displays of skill, and fierce competition as gymnasts from around the world vie for top honors at the Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup in Baku.
