Cybersecurity Conference to Address Emerging Threats and Technologies
On October 9-10, the Baku Congress Center LLC will spotlight pressing cybersecurity issues at the Critical Infrastructure Defense Challenge 2025 (CIDC-2025). This significant event, organized by the State Service for Special Communications and Information Security alongside the State Security Service, promises a rich agenda of presentations and discussions.
Participants can expect to delve into various aspects of cyberspace, focusing on the integration of cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence, deepfake technologies, and the Zero Trust security model. Additionally, real-world incident analyses and potential developments in the information security market will be explored, reflecting the evolving landscape of digital threats.
A standout feature of CIDC-2025 will be the "Cyberwar in Smart Cities" exercises. Teams comprising 3-5 members will simulate the defense of virtual information systems against orchestrated cyberattacks, enhancing practical skills in real-time threat mitigation. A prize fund of 30,000 manats (approximately $17,647) will be awarded to the top-performing teams, fostering a competitive spirit among participants.
Moreover, the conference will host "Hack The Future 2," a free educational program offering six master classes tailored to various age groups and expertise levels in cybersecurity. This initiative aims to stimulate interest and knowledge in the field among attendees, highlighting the importance of cybersecurity awareness in today’s tech-driven world.
