Referring to the studies carried out to prevent the spread of West Nile virus, Dicyurek pointed out that research was carried out by prioritizing the regions where the cases were present.

Minister Dinçyürek stated that the disinfection efforts initiated by the Primary Health Services Department, especially the Municipalities, continue throughout the country.

Dinçyürek also noted that the Ministry of Health is working with all stakeholders to develop a joint action plan to protect citizens from getting sick.
