Bayraktar TB3, the Armed Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (SİHA), has reached a significant milestone with its 30th test flight, completing 30 out of 30 successfully. The test flights of Bayraktar TB3 continue without any breaks, with a total flight time reaching 286 hours.

BAYKAR, the manufacturer of Bayraktar TB3, shared images of the successful 30th test flight on their social media account. The medium and high altitude system identification and performance tests were carried out during this milestone flight.

In an announcement from the BAYKAR X account, it was revealed that Bayraktar TB3 is making progress step by step, with plans to conduct tests for the UCAV on the TCG Anadolu ship in 2024. Bayraktar TB3 will be the first armed unmanned aerial vehicle in the world capable of taking off and landing from short-runway ships like TCG Anadolu, thanks to its foldable wing structure.

The capabilities of Bayraktar TB3 will mark an important innovation for unmanned aerial vehicles in its class. With beyond-line-of-sight communication capability, the national SİHA can be controlled from long distances, enabling it to perform reconnaissance-surveillance, intelligence, and attack missions with the smart munitions it carries.
