Bayraktar TB3 Completes 6th Successful Flight Test
Selçuk Bayraktar, Chairman of the Board of Directors for BAYKAR, has announced that the Bayraktar TB3 armed unmanned aerial vehicle has successfully completed its 6th flight test. In a social media post, Bayraktar shared that the system identification performance test was a success, with the aircraft flying for a total of 6 hours during its 6th test, bringing the total to 28 hours of successful flight.
The Bayraktar TB3 UCAV is set to make history as the world’s first armed unmanned aerial vehicle with the capability to take off and land from short-runway ships, such as the TCG Anadolu, thanks to its foldable wing structure. Baykar’s Chairman, Selçuk Bayraktar, has revealed plans to start tests for the TB3 on the TCG Anadolu ship in 2024.
The recent successful flight test marks a significant milestone in the development of the Bayraktar TB3, bringing it one step closer to its future deployment and operational capabilities.
