Beware of Link Traps: Expert Warns Against Clicking

According to Kırık, scammers are sending messages to users disguised as familiar chat applications. When users click on the links in these messages, they unknowingly give access to the scammers to their contacts, content, microphone, and camera. This spyware can then easily take over everything on the user’s phone, posing a significant threat to sensitive information like banking applications.
To avoid falling into the trap of scammers, Kırık advises people to never click on such links, no matter the circumstance.
