Biden’s Age Concerns 86 Percent of US Voters
A recent survey conducted by ABC News/Ipsos has found that a majority of participants believe that President Joe Biden, at 81 years old, is too old to serve a second term. According to the survey, 86 percent of participants expressed this sentiment, while 59 percent also believe that former President Donald Trump is too old for a second term.
The survey, conducted on February 9-10, also revealed that 27 percent of respondents believe Biden is too old to be president for another four years. This sentiment is even more prevalent among independent voters, with 91 percent expressing the belief that Biden is too old, and 71 percent saying the same for Trump.
In addition to concerns about age, the survey also showed that a majority of US voters believe Trump would be better at protecting the country’s borders than Biden, with a 44 to 26 percent margin. Furthermore, more Americans trust Trump over Biden on issues such as the economy, crime-fighting, and inflation.
These survey results shed light on the sentiments of the American public regarding the age of presidential candidates and their perceived abilities to handle key issues facing the country.
