Bishkek Chosen as Venue for Kyrgyz-Korean Intergovernmental Commission Meeting
The Kyrgyz-Korean Intergovernmental Commission Meeting to be Held in Bishkek
A meeting of the Kyrgyz-Korean Intergovernmental Commission is set to take place in Bishkek, following discussions between the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kyrgyzstan to the Republic of Korea, Aida Ismailova, and the Deputy Minister for Economic Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Korea, Kim Hee-sang, who is also the Co-Chairman of the Korean part of the Intergovernmental Commission.
During their meeting, the two parties addressed various crucial issues related to cooperation in trade, investment, and other key areas of interaction between the two countries. The 6th meeting of the Kyrgyz-Korean Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation is scheduled for August 12, 2024, in the capital city.
Kim Hee-sang highlighted the significance of enhancing trade, economic, investment, and cultural-humanitarian partnerships between Kyrgyzstan and Korea. This upcoming meeting is expected to further strengthen the bilateral relations and cooperation between the two nations.
