
Bishkek Conducts Inspections at Over 100 Mosques before Fasting Month Begins

On February 28, 2025, the 24.kg news agency reported that the Spiritual Directorate of the Muslims of Kyrgyzstan (SDMK) conducted inspections of over a hundred mosques in Bishkek ahead of the holy month of Ramadan. The working group visited mosques where Friday prayers are held to assess the conditions for parishioners.
During the inspections, special emphasis was placed on cleanliness and the level of preparation of the mosques to receive believers. The SDMK informed that all feedback and comments have been duly noted, and any shortcomings identified have been addressed and rectified.
This proactive approach by the SDMK showcases their commitment to ensuring that mosques in Bishkek are well-prepared to welcome worshippers during the upcoming holy month of Ramadan.
