Bishkek Districts Face Water Shortage
Several districts in Bishkek are experiencing disruptions to their cold water supply today, as reported by Bishkekvodokanal.
The reason for the water shutdown is due to repairs at the Zapad-2 water intake and city water supply networks. The cold water supply will be suspended from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. in the following areas:
– Ala-Archa river, the railway, Molodaya Gvardiya Boulevard, and Zhibek Zholu Avenue
– Molodaya Gvardiya Boulevard, railway, Manas Avenue, and Frunze Street
– Ala-Archa river, Chui and Deng Xiaoping avenues, Ostashkovskaya, Dimitrova, Moskovskaya, and Asanaliev streets
Bishkekvodokanal has issued an apology for any inconvenience caused by the disruption in cold water supply.
Residents in the affected areas are advised to make necessary arrangements to minimize the impact of the temporary water supply shutdown. It is recommended to store water for essential needs during this period.
