Blaze at Tire Warehouse Sparks Emergency Response – Breaking News in Turkey
A fire broke out in a tire warehouse in Istanbul’s Çekmeköy district of Alemdağ Neighborhood Saray Street, causing panic and chaos in the area. The incident occurred in a 3,000 square meter closed area, with flames spreading quickly to a nearby textile workshop.
Firefighters, along with health and police teams, rushed to the scene to contain the blaze. A total of 53 vehicles and 133 personnel were involved in the firefighting efforts, which were complicated by the intense smoke emanating from the burning rubber tank.
Despite the challenges, the teams managed to bring the fire under control and prevent it from spreading to nearby businesses. The warehouse, which had been engulfed in flames, is now being cooled down and evacuated of smoke.
