Blue Homeland’s National Warships to be Showcased in Malaysia

Turkish defense company STM is gearing up to showcase its warships developed with national resources at the upcoming DSA-2024 Fair in Malaysia. STM Defense Technologies Engineering and Trade Inc., known for its innovative and national platforms in the Turkish defense industry, has been making strides in exporting its technologies abroad.

The company is set to introduce its military naval platforms and tactical mini UAV systems to the South Asian region at the Defense Service Asia (DSA) Fair, one of the largest defense fairs in the Asia Pacific region. The 18th DSA-2024 Fair will take place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia’s capital, from 6th to 9th May.

STM, which has been involved in building surface and underwater platforms for the Turkish Navy, Ukrainian, and Pakistani Navy, will showcase 5 different naval projects in Malaysia. These include the MİLGEM family and the National Submarine STM500.

Among the projects to be presented at the fair are Turkey’s first national corvette project, MİLGEM Ada Class, and the first national frigate project, MİLGEM Istanbul Class Frigate. Additionally, the STM500 small-sized national submarine project, the STM MPAC Attack Boat, and the coast guard ship CG-3100 will be on display.

The last ship of the MİLGEM Ada Class, TCG KINALIADA (F-514) Corvette, equipped with maximum national systems, will also be docking in Kuala Lumpur between 6th and 9th May. Moreover, STM’s tactical mini UAV systems, including the KARGU strike UAV and UAV BOYGA, will be showcased at the event.

STM General Manager Özgür Güleryüz highlighted the company’s efforts in promoting its military naval platforms and tactical mini UAV systems internationally. He expressed the company’s commitment to defending the country and contributing to the economy through exports and collaborations with friendly nations.
