Body of a 32-year-old missing man found in landfill in Kyrgyz Republic
The body of a 32-year-old man who had been reported missing was discovered at a landfill in Bazar-Korgon district, the press service of the Internal Affairs Department in Jalal-Abad region revealed.
According to reports, a 27-year-old woman informed the police on December 9 that her husband had left their home on the morning of November 21 and had not returned since. Concerned for his well-being, she reported him missing.
On December 13, a burnt body wrapped in cloth was found at a landfill in Charbak village. The wife of the deceased was able to identify her husband by the clothing he was wearing. Shockingly, during the examination, it was discovered that the body of the deceased had over 60 stab wounds.
A criminal case has been initiated under Article 122 “Murder” of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. Subsequently, a forensic medical examination has been requested. Two young men, aged 18 and 20, have been apprehended on suspicion of committing the heinous crime and are currently in custody.
Authorities have disclosed that there was a financial dispute between the victim and the alleged perpetrators, leading to this tragic outcome. Furthermore, it has been inferred that another individual may have been involved in the crime as well. The investigation is ongoing as the police work to uncover all the facts surrounding this dreadful incident.
