Bomb Threat Forces Evacuation of Asia Mall in Bishkek
Law enforcement officers in Bishkek are currently on high alert as they search for an explosive device in the Asia Mall shopping and entertainment center. According to Nazira Alakunova, press secretary of the Department of Internal Affairs of Leninsky district, authorities received a report today, February 13, at around 2:47 p.m., regarding a suspected bomb in the mall.
In response to the report, an investigative task force was dispatched to the scene, leading to the evacuation of both visitors and vendors from the shopping center. As a precautionary measure, law enforcement officers have cordoned off the area surrounding Asia Mall while they conduct their search.
