Breaking News: 2 More Detentions in Kartalkaya Fire Probe
The investigation into the fire at the Grand Kartal Hotel in Bolu continues, as reported by the Bolu Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office. In connection with the investigation, Bolu Special Administration Secretary General Kösterli and Deputy Secretary General Bal have been detained.
A total of 28 suspects were detained in relation to the fire, with 19 of them being arrested and 9 individuals released, 8 of whom were placed under judicial control. The investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the fire and any possible negligence that may have led to the tragedy.
Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya has made a statement regarding the response to the fire at Kartalkaya Ski Center. He highlighted that reports from the Bolu Municipality and Special Provincial Administration have been completed and delivered to the Bolu Governor’s Office, which subsequently sent the reports to the Bolu Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office for further action.
Minister Yerlikaya emphasized the importance of a thorough investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the fire and ensure accountability for those responsible.
