Breaking News: Free Public Transport Regulation on 23 April!
The decision published in the Official Gazette announced that on April 23, 2025, in honor of National Sovereignty and Children’s Day falling on a Wednesday, certain rail system lines and metro line flights will be exempt from certain regulations.
According to the decision, Başkentray, Marmaray, İzban, Sirkeci-Kazlıçeşme rail system line, Gayrettepe-Istanbul Airport-Arnavutköy Metro Line flights, as well as municipal collective transportation services, will be exempt from certain provisions of Law No. 4736 on this special day.
