BRTK announces completion of women’s handball classification
The Women’s Handball League in Cyprus has just wrapped up its regular season with exciting results. Cyprus International University emerged as the undefeated leader of the league, securing a decisive 42-26 victory against Şahlan and finishing on top with 10 points. Şahlan, on the other hand, ended up in fourth place in the standings.
In another thrilling match at the Girne Ertuğrul Apakan Sports Hall, Miracle Esentepe claimed a 32-23 victory over DİGEM, earning themselves a spot in the play-offs as the second-place team with 6 points. DİGEM also put up a strong performance, finishing in third place with 4 points.
The stage is now set for the Women’s League Play-Off, with Cyprus International University facing off against Şahlan, and DİGEM battling it out against Miracle Esentepe.
