BRTK Organizes Youth and Sports Games
The “Republic Festival Youth and Sports Games” kicked off over the weekend to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the establishment of the TRNC (Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus). Organized by the Youth Department, the event features various sporting activities and highlights the importance of youth and sports in the country.
The festival started with the ‘Badminton’ event, where participants showcased their skills and competed against each other. It was followed by swimming races, which took place yesterday. The enthusiasm and determination of the participants were evident as they swam their way towards the finish line.
Looking ahead, the festival will continue with Karting and Rally races, as well as Bicycle Riding on November 11. These events are expected to attract a wide range of participants and spectators, as they offer thrilling experiences and exciting competitions.
