Budapest Christmas Fair Opening Soon!
Budapest, the capital city of Hungary, is known for its stunning Christmas fairs, with some even being selected as among the most beautiful in the world. This week, Vörösmarty Classic Xmas announced the opening date for their unique 2024 fair, set to take place in the heart of Budapest.
According to their Facebook post, Vörösmarty Classic Xmas is gearing up for another spectacular event in 2024, promising plenty of programs, delicious treats, and surprises for visitors. The Christmas fair is scheduled to open on 15 November at Vörösmarty Square, a symbolic location in Budapest situated near the Danube River and the famous Váci Street shopping district. The theme for this year’s fair will be “Classic rebranded,” offering a fresh take on traditional holiday festivities.
The Vörösmarty Square Christmas Fair is expected to run until 31 December, allowing plenty of time for locals and tourists alike to experience the magic of the holiday season in Budapest. According to index.hu, this Christmas fair has been a staple event in the city for over two decades, drawing in record numbers of visitors each year with its unique products, culinary delights, and festive ambiance.
In addition to the Christmas fair in Budapest, other cities across Europe are also preparing to kick off their holiday festivities. Vienna will host its first Advent fair on 11 November, while Prague’s Christmas fair will open on 30 November and continue until 6 January.
As preparations for the Vörösmarty Square Christmas Fair are underway, organizers have begun hiring staff for the event. According to Pénzcentrum, employees will be required to work 4-6 days a week, receiving weekly wages every Monday along with two daily meals. Proficiency in English is a must, with knowledge of Italian being an added advantage. The potential salary for workers is attractive, with the opportunity to earn EUR 1500 per month by working 12-hour shifts for five days a week.
With Christmas fairs set to open in cities like Zagreb, Cracow, and Craiova in the coming weeks, there is no shortage of holiday cheer to be enjoyed across Europe.
