A Building Collapse in Konya: Two People Rescued After Five Hours Under Rubble
In a heartwarming turn of events, search and rescue teams in Konya, Turkey, were able to locate and rescue two individuals who were trapped under the rubble of a collapsed building. Muhammed Cedan, 24, and Halid El Cedan, 55, miraculously survived five hours under the debris before being found by the heroic rescue workers.
The emotional moment when the search and rescue teams reached the survivors was captured on camera. One of the rescuers held the hand of one of the trapped individuals and reassured him, “I held your hand. With God’s permission, I will get you out. Don’t worry, everything will be okay.” The rescuer’s words of encouragement helped boost the morale of the survivors as they awaited their rescue.
Upon finding the second survivor, the rescue worker greeted him with a smile and reassured him, “Hello, friend. With God’s permission, you are safe with me, there is no problem.” The survivors, including a Syrian individual, expressed their gratitude and welcomed the rescuers with calmness and resilience.
The rescue teams provided water to the survivors but cautioned them not to drink too much at once. Despite the harrowing situation, the survivors remained calm and grateful for their rescue.
