
Building in Istanbul Evacuated Due to Collapse Risk

A building in Istanbul’s Bahçelievler district, which was deemed dangerous to collapse, has been evacuated and sealed by municipal teams.
Residents of the building located on Birlik 1 Street in Hürriyet Neighborhood of Bahçelievler District raised concerns about the stability of the 6-storey building. Authorities were informed about the situation, and the Bahçelievler Municipality police teams were dispatched to inspect the building.
Upon inspection, it was discovered that there were collapses at the base of the building, causing it to sway. As a result, the decision was made to evacuate the building for safety reasons. The municipal teams promptly evacuated the residents and sealed off the building.
