Bursaspor Receives Fine from PFDK

Bursaspor fined by PFDK and Football Branch Manager banned from official competitions

Bursaspor Club has been fined a total of 76 thousand TL by the Professional Football Discipline Committee (PFDK) following incidents during the Afyonspor match. Additionally, Sedat Topaloğlu, the Football Branch Manager of the green-white club, has been banned from participating in 5 official competitions due to an attack on a member of the press.

The Turkish Football Federation (TFF) stated that Bursaspor Club was fined 56 thousand TL for field incidents caused by its fans during the TFF 2nd League White Group competition against Ses İlaç Afyonspor-Bursaspor on December 10th, 2023. The club was also fined an additional 20 thousand TL for the repeated incidents of bad cheering by its fans, marking the 4th occurrence in the same season.

Furthermore, Football Branch Manager Sedat Topaloğlu was penalized for attacking a press member during the Afyonspor match. He has been prohibited from entering the locker room and bench during 5 official competitions and has been fined 9 thousand TL. Another club official, Fetih Yakut, was also punished for unsportsmanlike behavior and has received a ban from the locker room and bench during 1 official competition, along with a 9 thousand TL fine.
