“Camping Emerges as Top Choice for Summer Getaways”

With June here and warm weather finally upon us, many are eagerly counting down the days to their summer vacation. However, the high prices of holiday accommodations are causing some to ruminate. While camping remains an affordable option, others would rather not give up their comfort and opt for hotels.
Reha Bali, a member of the Camping Caravan Federation, noted that camping has spiked in popularity since the pandemic, earthquake, and economic downturn. For a family of four on a five-day camping trip, around 5,000 liras (approximately $588 USD) would be sufficient.
In other tourism news, İzmir has seen a 20% increase in visitors during the first four months of the year compared to the previous year, with museums experiencing an even greater surge of 56%. As travelers plan their summer trips, it’s important to weigh the benefits of various types of accommodations to find the best fit for your budget and preferences.
