Tomorrow’s Basketball Federation Elections: Orhun Mevlit and Ertuğ Nasıroğlu Vie for President
The extraordinary general assembly with elections for the Basketball Federation is set to take place tomorrow, with current president Orhun Mevlit and Ertuğ Nasıroğlu both vying for the position of president.
Following Ertuğ Nasıroğlu’s candidacy application on Thursday, Orhun Mevlit also submitted his candidacy application to the federation. The candidate application period, as stated in the statute, expired at 17:00 yesterday, with no other applications received apart from Mevlit and Nasıroğlu.
The extraordinary general assembly of the Basketball Federation with elections is scheduled for tomorrow at 18:00 at the Turkish Cypriot Sports Writers Association. A total of 9 clubs will have the opportunity to cast their votes at the general assembly.
