A car caught fire on the 15 July Martyrs Bridge early this morning, causing chaos and temporary closure of the road. The incident occurred at around 00:30 when a car with plate number 34 GRU 338, driven by Nermin C., suddenly caught fire while traveling from the Anatolian side towards Europe.
Emergency services, including the police, fire brigade, and medical teams, quickly responded to the scene. Police secured the area on the bridge while firefighters worked to extinguish the flames engulfing the vehicle. Fortunately, there were no casualties as Nermin C.’s two daughters and niece were safely evacuated from the burning car.
