CBU Revokes License of Another Payment Processor
The Central Bank of Uzbekistan recently made the decision to revoke the license of the payment organization United Payment Solution JSC, as reported by the regulator’s press service.
The Central Bank’s Telegram channel announced, “By decision of the Board of the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the license of United Payment Solution JSC to operate as a payment organization has been revoked.”
This decision was made after it was discovered that the organization had not been operational for a year since receiving its license. As a result, United Payment Solution JSC has been removed from the register of payment organizations.
This news comes after the Central Bank previously revoked the licenses of three other payment organizations. The actions taken by the Central Bank demonstrate their commitment to ensuring the integrity and stability of the financial sector in Uzbekistan.
