CEC Appoints Three New Deputies to Kyrgyz Parliament

The Central Commission for Elections and Referendums (CEC) of Kyrgyzstan has officially registered three candidates as deputies of the Parliament, according to a report from the CEC’s press service.

One of the newly registered deputies is Zhumabek Salymbekov, the son of Askar Salymbekov and the General Director of Dordoi Bazary. Zhumabek Salymbekov, who is also a former deputy of the Bishkek City Council, will represent Sverdlovsky constituency № 29 in the Parliament.

Aizhigit Tynaliev has been elected as the people’s representative for Issyk-Kul constituency No. 36, while Bakytbek Maripov, the former head of the district and brother of former Prime Minister Ulukbek Maripov, who is currently the Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, will serve as a deputy in Nookat constituency No. 5.

All three deputies have been presented with a service certificate and a badge to mark their official roles in the Parliament. This registration of new deputies marks a significant step in the country’s political landscape and governance.
