Central Bank Signs MOU with Brazil and Kazakhstan
The Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT) has recently signed a memorandum of understanding with the central banks of Brazil and Kazakhstan to enhance cooperation in the field of central banking.
The memorandum with the Central Bank of Brazil was signed on April 19, 2024, to pave the way for collaboration on central banking issues. The agreement was reached between CBRT President Fatih Karahan and Brazilian Central Bank President Roberto Campos Neto in Washington, USA.
Similarly, on the same date, a memorandum was also signed with the Central Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan. This agreement aims to strengthen cooperation between the two central banks and conduct technical studies within the institutional framework in the field of central banking. The memorandum was signed by President Fatih Karahan and Timur Suleimenov, Governor of the Central Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in Washington, USA.
Both agreements highlight the commitment to enhancing cooperation in central banking and signify a step towards closer collaboration between the central banks of Turkey, Brazil, and Kazakhstan.
