Centrum Air, a private airline based in Uzbekistan, is set to enhance its operations with the addition of a new Airbus A321neo aircraft. The airline has signed a long-term lease agreement for the supply of the A321-271NX model, which comes equipped with LEAP-1A engines and registered under the number UK32131.

The new aircraft recently completed a successful test flight after arriving from Hamburg to Tashkent on August 31. It then continued its journey to Tbilisi and is currently en route to Dubai. The Airbus A321neo is specially configured with two additional fuel tanks, allowing for long-haul flights of up to 7,000 km and expanding the airline’s flight range.

Abdulaziz Abdurakhmanov, CEO and founder of Centrum Air, expressed his excitement about the new aircraft’s arrival. He highlighted that this addition will enable the airline to increase the number of destinations and passenger traffic from other countries to Uzbekistan. The expansion of the fleet signifies Centrum Air’s commitment to offering more international connections and enhancing air travel options in the region.
