Three district governors in the Andijan region have recently been replaced, according to reports from the regional administration.

Utkirbek Mamurov, who served as the governor of Bulakbashi district for seven years, has been transferred to the position of governor of Markhamat district. Mamurov, born in the Altynkul district in 1973, graduated from the Moscow Agricultural Academy named after K. Timiryazev in 1997 before taking on the role in Bulakbashi in 2017.

Furkatbek Butakhonov, a native of the Khodjaabad district born in 1985 and a graduate of the Andijan Agricultural Institute in 2013, has been appointed as the new governor of Bulakbashi district.

Meanwhile, Bobur Yuldoshev, who has been the governor of Markhamat district since 2020, has been named as the new governor of Andijan district. Yuldoshev, born in Andijan in 1986 and a graduate of the Andijan Engineering and Economic Institute in 2008, took over the position from Bakhtiyor Mamatkarimov, who has been leading the Andijan region since December 2022.

The changes in district governors are part of a routine reshuffling in administrative roles to ensure efficient governance and progress in the regions. It will be interesting to see how the new appointees bring their expertise and leadership to their respective districts in the coming months.
