A stolen jeep turned the side road of Avcılar D-100 Highway into a war zone, causing chaos and destruction as it crashed into 12 vehicles. The incident began when police attempted to stop the stolen vehicle, but the driver instead chose to plow through the line of cars on the side road.
Eyewitnesses described the scene as chaotic, with the jeep quickly fleeing the area after causing extensive material damage to the vehicles and injuring three people. The suspect was later apprehended in Ataköy with the stolen vehicle.
One eyewitness, Mehmet Yılmaz, recounted the startling event, stating, “They blocked the vehicle here. The vehicle must have been stolen. They broke the windows of the vehicles. The owner of the vehicle ran back and forth, crushing all the vehicles and ran away. The vehicle was stolen. We were here and God protected us.”
