Two Students Hospitalized after Pepper Spray Incident at Bishkek School

Doctors at the City Children’s Clinical Emergency Hospital provided an update on the condition of the two affected students. Both children, born in 2012, received immediate medical attention. One child was admitted to the intensive care unit as a precaution, but is now in stable condition and will be transferred to a regular ward. The second child was treated and sent home for further outpatient care.
In light of this incident, Bishkek City Hall is urging parents to ensure that their children do not bring potentially dangerous items to school, such as pepper sprays, sharp objects, stun guns, and other hazardous devices. Officials have warned that repeated violations of these safety measures will result in legal action.
